I am not funded by outside groups

There has been some inaccurate information put forth about funding for my campaign from an anti-testing activist.  Her web-page implies that my campaign is receiving funds from out of state organizations, which is completely untrue. All of the sources of funding for my campaign can be found by clicking here.  The vast majority of my funding comes from myself, my family, and my friends. I have also received funding from the Colorado Education Association.

This activist lists funders of a University of Washington based research center and implies they are associated with my political campaign.  I worked professionally with this research center when I ran a research center at the University of Colorado Denver.  The last time I worked with this research center was in 2011 around the question of how to help parents choose their schools.

I do not expect this anti-testing activist to support my campaign.  As stated on all of my campaign materials, a core value for me is Excellence for All.  Testing is a key tool in measuring whether or not all students are being served.  At the same time, I am the first to say that LPS students are over-tested, and that LPS should reduce the number of standardized tests it requires students to take.

Thank you again for your interest in my campaign.  I appreciate the effort people put into being informed voters – that is ALWAYS important in any election.  This source, however, is not accurate.

Hello, this is Robert. I am hoping this will be the place for a good discussion. I will use this as a place to add information about myself, Littleton and education.
