First and foremost, I am a dad to two little girls who attend Littleton Public Schools (LPS). My youngest is a budding singer, blissfully skipping through school. My eldest is studying violin and was nicknamed “Sparkles” by her teacher. Above all else, my goal is to use my knowledge of education policy to make the education system in Littleton the best for my children and ALL children served by Littleton Public Schools.
Since we entered LPS I have been working to help make our schools better. I started by helping in their classrooms during their first few years. Since then, I have served on the school and district accountability committees, and the district financial advisory committee.
Watching my kids as they make their progress through schools has helped me understand that schools are more than just places where kids learn their ABCs. Our schools keep our children safe, nurture their growth in a wide variety of pursuits, and help them grow to become contributing members of our community. I value the well-rounded education my children are receiving in LPS.
Tell me what you value about LPS.
